This website, archipelagohealth.org, is operated by Archipelago Health Holdings Limited, trading as Archipelago Health, a company registered in Jersey with number 166172.

Agreeing to these terms

By using the site you agree to these terms, our privacy policy and our cookie policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the site. We may change these terms; the effective date at the top shows the current version, and continuing to use the site after a change means you accept it.

Health information is general, not advice

This site describes Longitude, a blood test that estimates ten-year risk of several cardiometabolic conditions, and the science behind it. That content is general information. It is not medical advice, it is not a diagnosis, and it is not a substitute for a consultation with a doctor who knows your history. Reading this site, registering interest or contacting us does not make you a patient of Archipelago Health or of any of the clinicians named on it, and does not create a clinician-patient relationship.

Longitude is a screening test. A risk score is a probability, not a prediction of what will happen to you, and a low score is not a guarantee of good health. When the test is available, results will be explained by a clinician, and decisions about your care should be made with them. Never delay seeking medical help because of something you read here. If you are unwell, contact your doctor; in an emergency call the emergency services.

Figures on this site about what the test measures and how well it performs are drawn from Nightingale Health's published material and the sources linked in the text. We do our best to keep them accurate and current, but we do not warrant that any statement is complete or free of error.

Nothing is sold through this site

You cannot order, pay for or receive results of Longitude through this website. Registering interest and sending an enquiry are requests for information; neither creates a contract or an obligation on either side. Launch dates and the territories we name are our current plans and may change. When Longitude becomes available, the test will be supplied under separate terms given to you before you order.

Using the site

You may read, print and share pages from this site for your own information. You may not:

• use the site or its forms for anything unlawful, or to send spam, malware or abusive content;
• attempt to gain unauthorised access to the site, the server it runs on or the systems behind it;
• interfere with the site's operation, or place an unreasonable load on it;
• scrape or bulk-copy the site's content other than as an ordinary search engine does;
• reproduce our content for commercial purposes without our written permission.

Intellectual property

The text, design, images and logos on this site belong to Archipelago Health Holdings Limited or are used with permission. The Archipelago Health name and logo and the Longitude name and wordmark are our trade marks. Nightingale Health's name and logo are the trade marks of Nightingale Health and appear here to describe our partnership as its distributor. Nothing on this site grants you a licence to use any of these marks.

Links to other sites

The site links to third-party websites, including Nightingale Health's, as sources for what we say. We do not control those sites, are not responsible for their content or privacy practices, and a link is not an endorsement.

Availability and accuracy

We aim to keep the site available and correct, but we provide it “as is”. We do not promise that it will be uninterrupted, error-free or free of viruses, and we may change or withdraw any part of it at any time without notice.

Liability

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited or excluded by law. Subject to that, we are not liable to you for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or inability to use, this site or your reliance on anything on it, whether in contract, tort (including negligence), breach of statutory duty or otherwise, and in particular we are not liable for any loss of business, revenue, profit or data. This site is provided free of charge for information; the terms that will govern the supply of the Longitude test are separate and will address liability for the test itself.

Privacy and cookies

How we handle personal data is set out in our privacy policy, and what we store in your browser in our cookie policy. Both form part of these terms.

Governing law

These terms and any dispute arising from them or from your use of the site are governed by the laws of Jersey, and the courts of Jersey have exclusive jurisdiction. If any part of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the rest continues to apply.
