Longitude is delivered through the people already caring for their communities.
We do not run clinics and we do not see patients. Longitude reaches people through GP practices, diagnostic laboratories and employers. If that is you, here is how it works.
Nightingale Health
Longitude runs on the Nightingale Health platform. Nightingale’s NMR metabolomic analysis is validated in more than 900 peer-reviewed publications and is used in many of the world’s leading health studies, including UK Biobank. It is approved for healthcare use in the European Union, the United Kingdom, Japan and Singapore. In Finland it is in live rollout in primary healthcare, where more than 200,000 people have already received the check.
Archipelago Health is Nightingale Health’s partner for the Crown Dependencies, Bermuda and the Caribbean. Every Longitude sample is analysed in a Nightingale reference laboratory and every result is produced by Nightingale’s validated models.
GP practices and clinicians
Nothing to buy, no stock to hold, and nothing ordered in advance. Your practice draws into its own serum tube and sends it on the laboratory run you already use. The report comes back in your patient’s name, to you, and the clinical relationship stays entirely with your practice.
We provide the request forms, specimen bags and sample identifiers at no charge, an interpretation guide signed off by our Chief Clinical Advisor, and an onboarding session of about an hour before your first patient.
Diagnostic laboratories
You can process and dispatch samples on our behalf for a handling fee, without accessioning or reporting them.
And you can offer Longitude to your own patients, on the same terms as any other partner.
Two separate arrangements, and you can take either or both.
Employers and occupational health
The finger-prick route needs no laboratory, no phlebotomist and no clinic, so it can be delivered at your premises. It suits workforce health programmes and occupational health providers working on site.
